With two weeks until Election Day, Vice President Harris leads former President Trump in four battleground states, while Trump is ahead in two others, according to a Washington Post-Schar School survey.
The polls show Harris leading in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin while Trump leads in Arizona and North Carolina. Both have 48% support in Nevada.
Harris’s lead:- Georgia: 51% to Trump’s 47%
Harris’s lead:- Wisconsin: 50% to Trump’s 47%
Harris’s lead: – Pennsylvania: 49% to Trump’s 47%
Harris’s lead:- Michigan: 49% to Trump’s 47%
Tie: -Nevada 48% to Trump’s 48%
Trump’s lead:- Arizona: 49% to Harris’s 46%
Trump’s lead:- North Carolina: 50% to Harris’s 47%.
Conducted between September 30 and October 15, the polls’ margins of error range from plus or minus 3.9 to 5 percentage points in each state.
If the Washington Post-Schar School polling is accurate, Harris is set to secure a victory in November’s election with 286 Electoral College votes, even if Trump wins Nevada.
While there’s a wave of optimistic enthusiasm among Democrats, it’s crucial to recognize this is just one poll. So, it’s important to consider that Trump is closing the gap on Harris’ average polling lead. In fact, three national surveys conducted just last week indicate that the former president is now leading over the Democratic candidate.
As of October 21, the Real Clear Politics polling aggregate has Trump ahead by 0.8 percent in Pennsylvania and Nevada, 1.6 in Michigan and Arizona, 0.5 in North Carolina, 1.8 in Georgia, and 0.2 in Wisconsin.
